I know a few people who refuse to watch Bollywood movies, but will happily watch an Aamir Khan film, and so his next, Dhoom 3, will no doubt be one of the biggest films of the year, if not all time, in India. Especially since we’ve been kind of deprived of good films in mainstream Hindi films this year.
Dhoom 3 is the next installment in Yashraj’s successful series, and one of the very few Hindi sequels that is actually a sequel. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra return as the cop-duo Jai and Ali, chasing a new villain, played by Aamir Khan. Katrina Kaif also stars in the film, continuing the tradition of always having a new female lead in sequels. It is a little surprising that Aamir Khan, who is incredibly selective with roles, chose to do a Yashraj action flick.
The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who wrote the previous two Dhoom films, and the music will be by Pritam again.
Dhoom 3 is releasing this Christmas.
